Rob: Hey, everybody. It's Rob here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Hopkins four way to seven way and four way adapter on our 2014 Honda Odyssey. Now, our Hopkins adapter is going to give us a seven way connector as well as a four way connector. Those are going to be the two most common trailer connectors out there. Typically, you'll have a seven way connector on larger trailers that have brakes. more

RoadMaster 4-Wire Connector Installation - 2003 Honda Element- Video
Today on this 2003 Honda Element, we're going to install part number RM-910030-1. This is a Road Master 4-wire connector. The first thing we need to do is go ahead and remove the original connector that's on our vehicle. In this case, it's a 4-pole flat, so we'll simply just cut off the end. Then we'll go ahead and take apart the 4-wire connector. We'll take out 1 screw in the top, and then push the insides out the front. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Adapter Installation - 2001 Honda Odyssey- Video
Today on our 2001 Honda Odyssey well be replacing the Hopkins seven pole vehicle connector, part number 37185. First well go ahead and unscrew the hardware, removing the old seven pole connector. This hardware may be old and rusted, so it can break, but thats okay because we have new hardware. Now well just go ahead and take a pair of side cutters and cut off the wire. Next well take our utility knife, cut back the excess tape and remove it. This will allow us access to the wiring so we can go ahead and strip back the wiring on the vehicles side. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2012 Honda CR-V 56146KIT- Video
Today on our 2012 Honda CRV, we're going to install the Curt four-pole wiring kit part number 56146KIT. First before we begin our install, we need to go ahead and remove some of the interior trim panels, starting with the spare tire cover, then the rear threshold. To remove the rear threshold, we have two fasteners here, one on each side. Then we'll need to remove the driver's side quarter panel. To do this, you need to remove a couple of pieces first. With the second row seats in the down position, we'll go ahead and pop the carpeting loose here. more
